We hope this letter finds you well and rested from your
summer. As you know we will be kicking
off another semester of mainly music this fall. You are receiving this letter because you
have at some point expressed an interest in volunteering. If this is not the case please let me
know. We will still be meeting on
Friday mornings at 10:15AM. We will have a morning training session on Thursday September
13th at 9:30am. Childcare
will be provided. We will then run a
pilot session on Friday September 28th for all the volunteers and
their children. We will kick off the
semester on Friday October 5th. Attached is a list of volunteer opportunities. We have listed the role that may be a good
fit for you. Please let us know if this role is going to fill your cup while
serving this semester. A special note, this year we are starting the
Hospitality volunteers on a monthly rotation. Meaning you would be assigned a
specific Friday of each month (i.e. you will be assigned the 1st
Friday of every month or the 2nd or 3rd or 4th).
Also, we are still looking for volunteers. We especially need volunteers that don’t
have children in the program. Maybe a
grandma or grandpa, or a friend with school age children. Please prayerfully consider anyone you know
that may enjoy this opportunity. They
do not have to be FCC members. Again, this year our hope is that this ministry is an outreach
to the un-churched. Please keep in
mind that due to space restrictions we do not advertise this at our
church. Our goal is to reach out. This
seemed to work very well using this model last year. Please feel free to invite your un-churched
friends that you think would enjoy and benefit from this type of
program. Included is a couple of registration
forms. Please RSVP with Anh (four@the-little-ones.com)
by September 11th. Let Anh know if you will need childcare for the

Mainly Music Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities |

Hospitality – Adults: |
This roles involves the volunteer to bring snacks on a monthly
basis. You would be assigned a
specific Friday of each month for example you will be assigned the 1st
Friday of every month or the 2nd or 3rd or 4th. You would also stand near the table and
greet ladies as they come up. The week
that you bring snack your registration fee is waived. |

Hospitality – Children: |
This role involves the volunteer to prepare pre-bought snack
and drink into baggies and sippy cups before coming to the session, then
passing them out to the kids during kids snack time. This role also involves putting the sippy
cups in the dishwasher and sheets in the washer to prep them for the next
month. This is 4 volunteers on a
monthly rotation. |

Registration*: |
This role involves the volunteer to be early and collect money
from members as they arrive, and to help them get settled with their
nametags. They should also be familiar
with the program and the church to answer any questions that may arise. |
|
Greeter: |
This role involves volunteer to be intentional about seeking
out and conversing to the parent that may be new or not be in conversation
with anyone. Help them feel welcome
and get to know them a little. |
|
Audio Visual*: |
This role would require the volunteer to stand by the AV
equipment and move scroll the words to the songs during the music sessions. |
|
Mothers Helper: |
This role would require the volunteer to help and participate
with the children whose parents are leading music or AV equipment during the
program. |
|
Set Up Break Down*: |
This role would require the volunteer to help with the
set up and breakdown of the weekly sessions. |
|
Prayer Team Coordinator: |
This role would facilitate prayer requests and prayer teams
throughout the semester. Specifically
praying for the un-churched attendees and any prayer requests given. |
